Step 1: Preparation Requirements
Provide complete and honest information about the animal. This includes sharing the good, the bad, and everything in between—personality, behavior, medical history, temperament, habits, needs, challenges, and any other details that may help NFR determine the best course of action. Honesty is essential so the rescue can make informed decisions and help ensure the animal is placed in the most appropriate situation.
Step 2: Documentation
Compile all your pet's medical records, documentation, and background information. Email these detailed documents to us at nacfosterrescue@gmail.com.
Step 3: Submit
Complete and submit the required surrender documentation to Nac Foster Rescue. Once the paperwork has been received, a member of the NFR team will conduct a phone conversation to discuss the animal’s history, needs, circumstances, and rehoming situation in greater detail. Following this conversation, NFR will review the information and determine whether the animal can be accepted into the rescue program. Acceptance is based on available resources, placement options, and the animal’s individual needs.
Email the required documentation to nacfosterrescue@gmail.com
Disclaimer Notice
Nac Foster Rescue does not guarantee acceptance of an animal simply because the initial steps of the surrender process have been completed. All surrender requests are carefully reviewed and acceptance is based on available rescue capacity, an honest and complete evaluation of the animal, the animal’s individual needs, and NFR’s ability to provide appropriate care and placement. Completing the surrender process does not constitute acceptance into the rescue.
